The 9th Annual Corcoran Country Daze was held August 17th & 18th 2012 at the Corcoran Park & Ball Fields. Organized by the NW Area JC's, its a big undertaking for the group but well worth the effort according to Chad Robran, Event Coordinator, who said "Seeing all these families and kids outside enjoying themselves without spending a cent is what it's all about." We thank all the sponsors and volunteers who make it all possible.

New for 2012 was a trout fishing pond sponsored by the Corcoran Lions -- which meant free fishing all day long (catch & release). Those who caught one were able to bring home their fillets at the end of the day! Back again were fireworks Saturday night.

Proceeds from the event go back to the community through the donations, scholarships and many events the NW Area JC's (formerly the Corcoran Area JC's) put on each year.
